Cumberland County is the 2022 Community of the Year!
It was my honor to accept the 2022 Upper Cumberland Development District Community of the Year award on behalf of Cumberland County. The Upper Cumberland is made up of 14 outstanding counties which provide the best places in the state, and arguably in the United States, to live and work.
This award to Cumberland County is the culmination of teamwork across our county and city governments with the support of our state and federal legislators. I’m proud to be the County Mayor in a community that works together to enhance opportunities for growth and sustained success while keeping the things that make it our hometown.
This is likely my last newsletter of the year, so I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
