Get Answers to Economic Impact Payment Questions
The IRS is regularly updating the Economic Impact Payment and the Get My Payment tool frequently asked questions pages on IRS.gov as more information becomes available. Taxpayers should check the FAQs often for the latest additions; many common questions are answered in these.
- FAQs – Economic Impact Payments: www.irs.gov/eipfaq
- FAQs – Get My Payment tool: www.irs.gov/getmypaymentfaq
More than 80 million Economic Impact Payments have already been delivered to the nation’s taxpayers. More payments are on their way. As part of this effort, the IRS has launched two tools to help taxpayers get their payments:
- Get My Payment Since its launch on April 15, millions of taxpayers have been able to input their direct deposit information to speed—and track—their payments. The IRS reminds taxpayers the information is updated once daily, usually overnight, so they only need to enter information once a day.
- The Non-Filers Enter Payment Info tool is helping millions of taxpayers successfully submit basic information to receive Economic Impact Payments quickly to their bank accounts. This tool is designed only for people who are not required to submit a tax return.

COVID-19 Update
According to the Tennessee Department of Health, 60 residents of Cumberland County have tested positive for COVID-19 and 29 have recovered, leaving 31 active cases. 1,024 have tested negative. No deaths have been reported in Cumberland County. Overall, 1,084 people have been tested, which outpaces many larger counties. Contact tracing is standard in all cases, so if you have been in close contact with someone that has tested positive, you will be notified.
Contact tracing is completed by the Tennessee Department of Health (TDH). Once a patient is contacted about a positive test result by the health department or their local primary care physician, they are immediately contacted by the TDH contact tracing team who investigates their movements and persons that they may have come in close contact with. TDH considers close contact to be within six feet for more than 10 minutes. TDH employees will identify themselves when calling. Contact tracing is done out of the regional office. If you are contacted and have questions or concerns about authenticity, etc., feel free to call 931-646-7586.
These numbers are intended to be a brief summary of the information provided by the Tennessee Department of Health. More detailed information can be found here:
